Meet Holly

Holly Hammontree is photographer and artist originally from Sheridan, Wyoming and currently resides in Suffolk, Virginia. Her work has been published in local exhibitions at both Tidewater Community College(TCC) Visual Arts and Design Center and the Suffolk Art Gallery. In her personal studio practice, she utilizes a variety of media including digital photography, film photography, and glass. She is pursuing dual Associate of Applied Arts degrees with concentrations in studio arts photography and studio arts glass from TCC Visual Arts and Design Center in Norfolk, Virginia.

Holly spent twenty years traveling, exploring other cultures, art, landscapes and developing an appreciation for the diversity to be found. These experiences showed her how to find the beauty in any situation, and that is what she uses to fuel her work. Her art clearly reflects her love of nature and the peace found there. It also respects and pays homage to the variety of differences in scenery and humanity.
